Indicating More, Less, or Equality
Like adjectives, adverbs can be used to compare. There are three forms of comparisons: comparisons of inequality (more/less), comparisons of equality (as…as), and the superlative (the most/least).
Inequality: Más/menos + adverb + que
Ella trabajaba más rápido que él.She worked faster than he did.
Equality: Tan + adverb + como
Yo podía escribir el español tan bien como lo escribo.
I could write Spanish as well as I do.
Superlative: the definite article (el, la, los, las) + más/menos + adverb
